CEC posts Flyer
touting Muni Buydown Program - a flyer telling of the
recently available Rebate (Buydown) Funds available for customers
of Municipal electric utilities is available online. The flyer
[167 kB pdf] is designed to help get the word out on the
new program to these newly eligible customers. The program
went into effect mid-December 2001, and provides $4.50/watt
for PV and Wind systems <10kW.
CEC provides
update on Inverter Recertificiation - the California Energy
Commission issued an update letter regarding the recertification
of Xantrex/Trace SW inverters. The GTI (grid-tie interface)
fix will require some additional time to remedy an interference
problem that occurs in certain situations. more details

California Power
Authority launches Energy Financing Program - The California
Power Authority launched it's Energy Financing Program for
the manufacture of clean energy technologies within California.
Eligible technologies and additional criteria are posted online.
Deadline for the first round applications is May 21, 2002.
